Zoom link for tonight's reading party
Two hours of music to read to, broadcast live from the Sorrento, 7:30-9:30 pm Pacific
Have you looked outside? It’s reading party weather out there — gray and rainy. Perfect night to cuddle up by a fire with a book. Or to get some writing done. Or some thinking done.
If you don’t have tickets to the in-person party at the Sorrento, you can still join us from afar.

The Zoom broadcast of the live music — also known as the virtual party — is free if you are a paid subscriber to this substack. Just click on the link at the bottom of this post anytime between 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm Pacific.
Literary birthdays of the week will be announced during a brief pause in the music at 7:40 pm.
If you are an unpaid subscriber here, you’ll need a virtual ticket to join us.
If you’re one of the lucky few with a reservation at the sold out in-person party at the Sorrento, you’ll be in the room where it happens, the room with the piano, the room where the live set is broadcast from.
Don’t listen on laptop speakers
When listening from home, plug your computer into nice speakers if you can. Or plug some headphones in. The music will sound better and you will feel more connected to the rest of us reading at the Sorrento.
How to show our piano player extra love

His Paypal is paulmatthewmoore
What are you reading?
I’ll put up another post in a few minutes for you to share what you’re reading tonight.
