What are you reading?
Here's what I'm bringing to the February 17 Silent Reading Party

What are you reading?
Whether you’re attending Saturday’s brunch reading party at the Sorrento or joining the party virtually from home — or not attending Saturday’s reading party at all — I’d love to know what you’re reading.
Put the author and title in the comments, and anything else you want to say about it. Or if you’re choosing between several titles (I’m usually in the same boat), say which ones!
How to attend Saturday’s party virtually
The February 17 party goes from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm Pacific.
We broadcast the live set of the reading party music over Zoom, so if you don’t have a ticket for the Sorrento, you may still join us from your favorite reading chair home.
If you are a paid subscriber here on substack, click here to find that Zoom link for your free entry. No ticket registration needed.
If you are a free subscriber here, you will have to buy a virtual ticket to join the Zoom broadcast.
New brunch parties now on sale
These two brunch parties in March and April are now accepting reservations for paid subscribers of this substack.
Next week, the paywall will disappear and those secret ticket links will become available to free subscribers of this substack.
Thank you for supporting the Silent Reading Party with your subscription.
How to show our piano player some extra love
If you would like to thank our musician Paul for Saturday’s live set, you can find him on Venmo or Paypal.
His Venmo is paulmatthew-moore (if you need them, the last four digits of his number are 9033)
His Paypal is paulmatthewmoore
What are you reading?
Tell us in the comments! I get the best ideas about future reading material from you guys.
Best quote of the day….reading now, for the second time.
“He (Jesus) wasn’t an Indian, said the Jesuit, but he should have been.”………..from Indian Killer, by Sherman Alexie. 1996
I'm doing taxes instead of reading today. Not nearly as exciting, but the music makes it better.
