What are you reading?
If you’re attending tonight’s sold out reading party at the Sorrento (at 7:30 pm) or joining the party virtually — or even if you’re not attending tonight — I’d love to know what you’re reading.
I’ll be reading the introduction this edition of Melville stories, getting a head start on the FrizzLit Zoom book club that starts June 6, led by the award-winning novelist Rebecca Brown.
And you? What are you reading? Add the author and title to the comments.
Optional: tell us why you’re reading it or quote a sentence from it.
How to attend tonight’s party virtually
If you are a paid subscriber here on substack, click here for your free entry.
If you are a free subscriber here, you will need to get a virtual ticket to join us.
If you are one of the lucky few with a reservation in the Fireside Room at the Sorrento, you will be in the room where it happens, the room with the piano, the room where the virtual party is broadcast from.
How to tip the musician

His Venmo is paulmatthew-moore (and if you need them, the last four digits of his number are 9033)
His Paypal is paulmatthewmoore

What are you reading tonight?
Don’t forget to add it to the comments!
Tom is reading Margaret Atwood's "Cat's Eye." I am re-starting "Demon Copperhead." Tried it shortly after we read "David Copperhead" and it was too jarring at that time but happy to give it another shot.
I started Matthew Aucoin's The Impossible Art (https://us.macmillan.com/books/9780374175382/theimpossibleart) at Saturday's brunch party and am excited to get back into that one this evening!
