What are you reading at the first Silent Reading Party of 2024?
Whether you’re attending the sold out brunch Silent Reading Party tonight at the Sorrento or joining the party virtually from home — or not attending the reading party at all — I’d love to know.
How to attend tonight’s party virtually
If you don’t have a ticket for the Sorrento, you may still join us from your favorite reading chair home. We broadcast the live set of the reading party music over Zoom. If you are a paid subscriber here on substack, click here to find that Zoom link for your free entry.
If you are a free subscriber here, you will have to buy a virtual ticket to join us.
Upcoming parties now accepting reservations
These late-night parties in January & February, and these brunch parties in January & February, are now on sale for all subscribers.
These Wednesday night parties in April are now on sale for paid subscribers only.
How to show our piano player some extra love
If you would like to thank our musician Paul for tonight’s set, you can find him on Venmo or Paypal. His Venmo is paulmatthew-moore (if you need them, the last four digits of his number are 9033). His Paypal can be found by searching for paulislove@yahoo.com.
What are you reading?
Tell us in the comments! I get the best ideas about future reading material for myself from you.
The Hole by Hiroko Oyamada
Yes and I certainly wish you were reading with me. It is demanding. Complex.
