How to attend today’s party virtually
If you are a paid subscriber here on substack, click here for your free entry.
If you are a free subscriber here, you will need to get a virtual ticket to join us.
If you have a reservation at the Sorrento, you will be in the room where it happens, the room with the piano, the room where the virtual party is broadcast from.
How to tip the musician

New parties accepting reservations
These three parties in June have just been added to the calendar and are now accepting reservations for paid subscribers.
Next week, the paywall will be removed to give free subscribers access.
After that, they will be added to SilentReadingParty.com and available to the general public.

Tell me!
I think I will go for a walk and leave my book at home. I need to pace myself so I can enjoy this longer!
I picked up “James” by Percival Everett today at EBBC. Seattle Indie Bookstore challenge starts today! Get your passport at any indie bookstore, get your passport stamped and win a free trip to Paris! Naw, but you can get some nice discounts. ‘James’ is a retelling of‘Huckleberry Finn’ from the perspective of James, the man who was called Jim in the book. I am not sure if I will be able to put it down before I finish it.
