What are you reading?
There’s no Silent Reading Party party tonight — this is a previously scheduled night off — but scroll down to find a recording of a previous live set by Paul Matthew Moore.
I will be listening to Paul’s music at the usual time tonight as I dive into this new book of infographics I just bought at Elliott Bay Book Company.
And you? What are you reading? I’d love to know.
Upcoming parties
There’s no party tonight, but there are plenty of upcoming in-person parties where we could read by the fire together.

Listen from home tonight
Here is one of my favorite live sets from the party, first performed by Paul Matthew Moore on September 29, 2021.

Don’t forget to add it to the comments!
I get the best ideas about what to read next from reading these comment threads. If you feel like adding it, I love hearing what you think of what you’re reading.

Your mind. 👖
I need the reading party tonight, because between reading my Flannery O'Connor homework, fall is bursting with new books and I have a stack of them to get started on: the new bio of John Lewis, the new Richard Osman (cozy mystery), and a new romance called "Love You a Latke." And things got a little out of hand at Elliott Bay last weekend, as I have two new Toni Morrison interview and essay collections, AND a Jane Eyre-related memoir/homage to reading called "Praying with Jane Eyre: Reflections on Reading as a Sacred Practice." Way more than you needed to know ha!
