Writer and organizer Audrey Van Buskirk organized the reading based on sections of a newspaper.Author and journalist Zach Dundas gave the weather report—in the form of a short story.Becky Ellis talked about her forthcoming memoir Little Avalanches— be a good book club friend and preorder it here.FrizzLit Podcast producer Jake Rummel read an essay about fishing with his late grandfather that had us all crying one moment and laughing the next.Audrey Van Buskirk, representing the lost & found section, read a memoir piece about motherhood, walking in New York City, and fishing a pair of shoes out of Dumpster.Chris Lydgate, our virtual newspaper’s music section, gave a history lesson on Handel, said funny things about kings, and played Handel’s coronation anthem.Book club’s Kate Redmond during the live Symphony of Sentences.The live symphony was so fun. We have to do this more often.The happy audience included a 6-year-old Welsh dachshund named Lapka.
