A free session of the Dorothy Parker book club
Plus a memory from my first year at The Stranger, thoughts on the 100th anniversary of The New Yorker, and more

Several people have written to me to ask what the FrizzLit book club reading Dorothy Parker is like.
I’ve decided to make the first session of this class free for all substack subscribers. If you like what you see, there is still time to join the club.

To join the club, buy a ticket and get a copy of this book.
We meet on Zoom on Saturdays at 10 am Pacific for the next month and a half.
All meetings are recorded, and everyone who has a ticket gets the recordings sent to their email within 24 hours of each meeting’s conclusion.

I loved hearing the story of how you met Kathryn! How cool to imagine all those drawings of geniuses on the wall.
